Pete provides fundraising and campaign expertise to university clients across North America and the U.K., enabling them to sustain and accelerate private support growth.
Throughout his career, Pete has:
- Supported the successful conclusion of a comprehensive campaign for a major private university, resulting in increasing its compounded annual growth rate to 11% over the course of the campaign.
- Advised advancement leadership of several tier-one research (R1) universities as they looked to increase fundraising performance of the front-line staff initiative, resulting in the increased productivity of their fundraising managers and fundraisers.
- Led the philanthropic priority-setting initiative for the academic leadership of a Big Ten institution, resulting in a compelling rationale and philanthropic objectives for the largest campaign in the university’s history.
Prior to joining Huron, Pete served as senior vice president and higher education practice leader at GG+A, which was acquired by Huron in 2024. He also served in leadership roles in comprehensive campaigns for several public and private institutions, resulting in billions of dollars raised for key strategic initiatives in support of each institution’s mission. Those institutions included the universities of North Carolina and Washington, Georgetown University, and Michigan State University.
Pete earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College.
