Anne has more than 20 years of experience helping arts and culture organizations, nonprofits, and mission-based institutions develop plans for philanthropic campaigns, helping clients cultivate relationships with major donors and local businesses and deepen the organization’s value in the community.

About Anne

Anne provides expertise in campaign planning, board and staff fundraising training, development growth plans, donor engagement strategies, and comprehensive stewardship initiatives to clients in a range of industries, enabling them to develop their organizations in line with their mission.

Throughout her career, Anne has:

  • Served as interim chief development officer for a Smithsonian Affiliate museum, working with development staff, the board, and museum leadership to advance campaign fundraising, train volunteer leadership, and support fundraising staff during the museum’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
  • Collaborated with the leadership of a New York City theater to assess the current fundraising program, including the staffing structure, prospect strategies, and events, to develop a plan for annual and capital campaign fundraising growth.
  • Worked with the president and CEO of an international museum foundation to restructure and build the foundation’s senior leadership team while developing an actionable, comprehensive campaign plan.
  • Conducted board and staff fundraising training in Hungary and Switzerland for a global membership organization just beginning to develop its initial philanthropic strategies.

Prior to joining Huron, Anne served as senior vice president at GG+A, which was acquired by Huron in 2024. She also held the role of managing director at Bristol Riverside Theatre in Bristol, Pennsylvania, and associate managing director at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C. She founded the No Rules Theatre Company and has served as marketing manager, assistant director, and grant writer at various performing arts organizations in Ohio and North Carolina.

Anne earned a master’s degree of fine arts from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from Hiram College.
