Chad provides financial and operational expertise to healthcare clients through a focus on margin improvement, enabling them to provide exemplary patient care. His focus on innovation, growth strategy, supply chain operations and resilience, merger and acquisition (M&A) integration, data transparency, and transformational technology solutions has delivered significant benefits to hundreds of hospitals nationally.
Throughout his career, Chad has:
- Developed and brought to market a software-as-a-service-based technology solution focused on direct visibility to individual service line profitability for acute care providers, resulting in 8% financial service line improvement on average across multiple healthcare systems.
- Led the development and market deployment of a healthcare-focused supply chain resiliency service offering for five of the nation’s largest academic medical centers, resulting in immediate visibility through an AI advanced warning application to upcoming supply shortages and millions in savings by avoiding supply chain disruptions.
- Directed and led an enterprisewide expense reduction initiative for a multistate, 22-hospital integrated delivery network (IDN), resulting in $50 million in annual savings.
Prior to joining Huron, Chad served as a senior manager at Deloitte. He held the role of senior vice president at Premier Inc. as well as leadership positions in healthcare organizations, including Trackonomy Systems and MedAssets (since acquired by Vizient).
Chad earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Chad is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM), and the Colorado Hospital Association (CHA).
