About Gayle

Transformation involves elevating culture and strategy in ways that are reflected in everyday decisions, and in an organization’s identity and purpose.

Gayle has more than 20 years of education industry experience, which she applies to help institutions develop the strategies and talent needed to transform and increase student success. She has a track record of guiding school districts through critical, data-driven change in order to support student retention, progression and completion.

Throughout her career, Gayle has been recognized for developing leaders in ways that have elevated the profession of academic support services at the university, state and national level.

Prior to joining Studer Education, Gayle was the inaugural director of academic advising and the inaugural assistant vice provost for retention, progression, and completion at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In these positions, Gayle was at the forefront of developing and implementing a predictive analytics-based student success platform for the university. She also led the university’s PeopleSoft implementation team, concentrating on the academic advising module.

Gayle was honored as chair of the 2015 National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) annual conference. She also served as a board member for NACADA’s Emerging Leader Program and representative for its publications committee.
