Jim brings over 35 years of healthcare operations and consulting experience, including prior leadership roles with other national consulting firms. He leads Huron’s healthcare business on a nationwide basis and has had past leadership responsibility for Huron’s healthcare market teams, performance improvement and information technology capabilities. Jim also serves as a client service executive for a number of Huron’s health system clients, in the recent past serving Sutter Health, BJC HealthCare, Johns Hopkins Health System, Avera Health, Rockford Health System, Southern Illinois Health System, Altru Health System and others.
Prior to joining Huron, Jim was an executive vice president and chief administrative officer with a national post-acute healthcare provider. He led BearingPoint’s healthcare segment, including all services the company provided to healthcare providers, payers, military treatment facilities and healthcare-related federal agencies in the United States and Canada. He also led KPMG’s Healthcare Provider and National Revenue Cycle practice at various times in the late 1990s. In all of his consulting leadership roles, Jim also continued to actively sell and oversee information technology and performance improvement engagements.
