About John
John is passionate about ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded. He has experience across multiple industries, successfully assisting clients with managing complex business and systems transformation projects. With expertise in manufacturing, supply chain, and enterprisewide business systems and process integration, John has helped his clients drive cost savings, realize operational alignment, and improve profitability throughout their organizations.
Throughout his career, John has:
- Led a program to design and implement new business and enterprise systems for a newly formed organization, resulting from the divestiture of three independent business units from a Fortune 500 parent corporation. The platform was subsequently used to integrate multiple acquisitions.
- Guided a client through recovery from an unsuccessful ERP project, using three-month sprints to resolve transactional and financial data issues and enhance user and operational efficiencies. The client achieved significant improvements in operational and financial performance visibility, transparency, user experience, and customer service, including reduced lead times in closing, order management, and fulfillment.
- Led a new ERP solution implementation to replace legacy systems for a large wholesale electrical distributor in the Southeast, enabling the organization to grow exponentially through multiple acquisitions.
- Directed and managed the selection, conference room pilot, and implementation of an ERP software solution to assist an agricultural seed processor in replacing its legacy manufacturing and accounting system.
- Assisted multiple clients in client advocate management roles to assist in their engagement with other third-party system integrators while implementing business and systems transformation programs. These initiatives have saved clients several millions of dollars and/or prevented them from prematurely going live with systems not yet ready for deployment.
Prior to joining Huron, John served as a managing director at AXIA Consulting (AXIA), which was acquired by Huron in 2024. He also previously held the role of a managing director at both Alvarez & Marsal and Perot Systems and was a partner at Arthur Andersen.
