About Joe

Joe brings more than two decades of consulting expertise to his work with leading research universities, hospitals and other nonprofit organizations. He has guided a diverse set of institutions, including public and private universities and large academic health centers, through a complete transformation of their research functions.

Over the course of his career, Joe has conducted more than 30 assessments of university and academic health center sponsored research administration units, with a focus on evaluating current state business processes, technology, team structures and performance metrics. He regularly collaborates with clients on large-scale efforts to implement new research administration systems, plan and shift to shared administrative support models, and better prepare for federal audits and investigations.

Joe is a frequent speaker at industry events sponsored by the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA).
