Ken advises organizations in strategy, operations, and digital transformation, providing valuable experience for harnessing business growth and efficiency. He holds expertise in data strategy, analysis, and management; business processes; sales, marketing, and technology product positioning; and IT strategy and operations. Ken’s industry experience includes healthcare, the public sector, financial services, life sciences, retail, media and telecommunications, higher education, transportation, insurance, and manufacturing.

During his career, Ken has:

  • Led a customer relationship management deployment for a $5.9 billion manufacturing business in the transportation industry, delivering over $400 million in process improvement efficiencies.
  • Spearheaded an engagement for a $26 billion manufacturing business to design and operationalize an intra-business unit data governance and master data management deployment, resulting in a 60% reduction of customer, product, and supplier duplicates; a reduction in business data management efforts by 50%; a 2% reduction in inventory costs; and a 15% reduction in redundant supplier information.
  • Helped a $74 billion global manufacturing business in its journey toward customer-centric digital transformation and advanced analytics. The engagement enabled data science to build models for targeted marketing and personalization, reduced the time for data requests by 78%, decreased the risk for personally identifiable information (PII) data breaches, and cut infrastructure costs by 65%.
  • Initiated the implementation of standardized systems and processes for customer and product master data for a $1.1 billion medical device company, resulting in 55% decreased time to market for new product introduction, enhanced sales and profitability through a better understanding of competitive products, greater geographic diversification, a 40% decrease in time and effort to integrate newly acquired businesses, and improved compliance reporting.

Prior to Huron, Ken served as senior vice president of sales for LumenData, an enterprise information management solutions business. He has held leadership roles at consulting, technology, and media businesses, including Fujitsu America, Oracle Corporation, Thomson Reuters, and Deloitte.

Ken earned his Bachelor of Science from the Chicago State University and studied software engineering at Valparaiso University.

Ken is a member of the Data Governance Professionals Organization (DGPO). He volunteers as a mentor for college students interested in pursuing a career in technology.
