Rich has extensive expertise in digital customer relationship management (CRM) strategies, particularly within commercial and tribal industries. He uses technology and data-driven insights to optimize customer engagement, enhance brand loyalty, and drive revenue growth.
Rich has spearheaded new market and operational entry programs across the U.S., China, Europe, India, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia, building disciplined, metric-driven organizations that meet and exceed business expectations on a global scale. He specializes in developing strategies for increased global revenue, profit and loss (P&L) outcomes, and highly effective customer engagement. Throughout his career he has been known for driving business expansion and operational effectiveness in extremely competitive global markets, generating top-line growth and yielding bottom-line results across multiple industries with international and domestic successes.
Across his career, Rich has:
- Led the development and execution of digital technology transformation for one of the largest nonprofit cancer research organizations in North America, resulting in greater operating efficiencies and time to market with valuable prevention information campaigns.
- Transformed the sales performance management and sales pipeline process for a global insurer with assets in excess of $1 trillion, resulting in a 15% increase in revenue.
- Redesigned the lead-to-invoice process and technology for a global food, water, and equipment auditing group, which improved the speed of invoicing by 20%.
- As a CRM expert for transformations driven by mergers and acquisitions (M&A), led the consolidation technology integration for a global manufacturer of chemicals, spanning 12 countries. The integration now provides a fully synchronized view of all customers.
Prior to Huron, Rich held the role of process engineering leader at Heitmeyer Consulting. In this position, he implemented regulatory risk assessment, governance, and a remediation operating framework for 14 functional areas, refactored controls to ensure preventative vs. detective outcomes were achieved, implemented key performance indicators (KPIs), and automated reporting and case management.
Previously he served as the vice president of business integrations at Filtration Group, where he was responsible for the formation and execution of all programs and governance to ensure the end-to-end integration of people, processes, and technologies of acquired or carve-out businesses across all industries.
He has also served as business and technology transformation executive director at YP LLC, business and technology transformation senior vice president for SunTrust Bank, vice president of operations and institutional business at MetLife’s Institutional Business, and vice president of financial planning and support service lines at AXA Financial.
Rich is a nationally recognized speaker at customer relationship management (CRM), operations, business technology, and sales enablement industry conferences.
Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in political science and has completed executive leadership coursework at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
