Wendy has nearly two decades of experience advising research institutions, academic health centers and hospitals on ways to enhance institutional cost recovery and transform their approach to research administration.

About Wendy

Wendy’s career as a costing professional and consultant spans over 18 years, and she has worked with more than 30 institutions on engagements related to modeling rates for facilities and administrative costs, assessing service centers, evaluating profit and loss related to performing research, and redefining the infrastructure for research administration enterprises. In addition, she has led research administration transformation, operational assessments and interim staffing engagements.

Wendy focuses on enhancing institutional cost recovery and evaluating approaches to allocating indirect costs at the top 100 research universities, academic health centers, research institutes and hospitals. She has also more broadly partnered with institutions to assess the research administration enterprise and service center activities.

Wendy is a member of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA). She is a frequent speaker at industry events sponsored by NCURA, including the Financial Research Administration conference and both the Northeast and National Conference on College Cost Accounting.
