Huron Virtual Events Privacy Terms

Please note: video recordings may be deleted in 30 days. Check with the virtual meeting host for the video recording deletion date.

By attending a Huron virtual event, you understand that your personal information may be transferred, applying adequate safeguards (see Huron’s Privacy Statement for additional information), outside of your jurisdiction, including to the United States, where data protection laws may be different. In addition, any personal information that you share during the virtual meeting will be seen and potentially used by the other event participants and those who view the recorded meeting. You understand that you should be mindful about the type and amount of personal information you share during the meeting, including your physical environment.

When you register for certain webinars and other Huron-hosted live events that request your contact information (as opposed to client meetings and other confidential events), we have a legitimate interest in providing you with information you request from us, though we also want you to have choices about those communications. If you sign up now to receive messages from us, you will still have the right to change your preferences or unsubscribe in the future, either by following the instructions in the emails or by visiting our Privacy Statement for instructions.

Further, for webinars and other Huron-hosted live events (as opposed to client meetings and other confidential events), you understand that by participating in the virtual meeting, you may be photographed and recorded by Huron Consulting Services LLC and its affiliates and vendors (“Huron”), although Huron has no obligation to do so. Through your participation, you give Huron the unrestricted right and permission to photograph and record you and your likeness during the meeting and to copyright and use, publish, produce, copy, edit, post, broadcast, present, sell, transfer, and distribute such photographs and recordings of the meeting for any purpose without compensation to you or restrictions on user modifications.

Huron is a management consulting firm and not a CPA firm, and does not provide attest services, audits, or other engagements in accordance with standards established by the AICPA or auditing standards promulgated by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board ("PCAOB").
