For more than a decade, Alex has helped higher education clients assess, re-imagine, and transform student and alumni experiences. She specializes in strategic planning, operational assessment, performance improvement and aligning technology with institutional imperatives in the student and alumni space.

About Alex

For more than 10 years, Alex has served as a consultant and a leader within the higher education sector. She has helped more than 40 institutions, from public flagships to small liberal arts colleges, innovate and transform operations, organizational structures and technology systems to enhance the experiences of students and alumni. Working with institutional presidents, provosts, academic deans and department chairs, Alex takes a constituent-centric approach and collaborates with leaders to strategically assess and improve student, alumni and donor initiatives.

Throughout her career, Alex has helped her clients mobilize and align foundational strategies, systems, policies and processes to support and increase student and alumni engagement, success, enrollment, and experiences. For many of her clients, she has guided the planning and implementation of new student systems like Workday and customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce, transforming the ways in which institutions conduct their work, in alignment with their overall mission.

Before joining Huron, Alex served as a consultant at a higher education research and advisory firm, focusing on large-scale research efforts for development and alumni relations. She started her career in the Office of Donor Relations at Harvard Business School.

Alex holds a master’s degree in higher education administration and a bachelor’s degree in English and human development from Boston College.
